  1.    I gratefully acknowledge the work of Edgar Kaplan and Alfred
  2. Sheinwold who published their revised edition of "Winning Bridge"
  3. in 1963.  I have attempted to incorporate their entire offensive
  4. bidding system into this computer program.  Any errors are mine,
  5. not Kaplan and Sheinwold.  Their book is highly recommended.  It
  6. can still be ordered through Fleet Press Corporation, 156 Fifth
  7. Avenue, New York.

  9.    Most of the sequences for bidding slam was devised by me and
  10. are published separately:  "Bidding Slam With Confidence".  This
  11. book can be ordered through Terry, Inc. P.O. Box 21289, Carson City,
  12. Nevada 89721.

  15. the thoroughness and clarity of "Winning Bridge".  I have attempted
  16. to incorporate in this program the important ideas expressed by
